Last updated: 3 November 2026
01Who we are
omhealthhub.com is run by OM Ltd, a company registered in Hong Kong (“OM Health Hub”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
Privacy contact: hello@omhealthhub.com
We follow the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong. Where other privacy laws apply to you, such as the UK or EU GDPR, we follow those too.
02What we collect
- When you contact us. Your name, organisation, work email, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in your message, including any journeys you select on the Masterclasses page.
- When you sign up for our newsletter. Your email address and, if you give it, your name and organisation.
- When you register for or buy a ticket to an event, such as Health in Focus. Your name, job title, organisation, contact details and any dietary or access needs you tell us. Payments are handled by our ticketing partner; we do not see or store your full card details.
- When you join The Health Suite or attend one of our sessions. Your name, role, organisation, contact details and attendance.
- When you visit the website. Basic technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, collected through analytics tools and cookies (see “Cookies and analytics”).
- Photos and video at our events. We may photograph or film our summits and sessions (see “Photos and filming at events”).
Please do not send us health information. Our website and forms are not for medical questions, and we do not need your personal health details. If you include any, we will only use them to respond to you and will delete them when no longer needed.
03How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and to discuss, provide and manage our services with you or your organisation.
- To run our events and The Health Suite: registration, tickets, name badges, seating, reminders and follow-up materials.
- To send our newsletter and updates about our events and services, only if you have agreed (see “Marketing”).
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
- To keep our website and systems secure, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than those set out here without telling you first.
04Marketing
We will only send you our newsletter or other marketing if you have given us your consent, for example by ticking a box or signing up. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, or you can email hello@omhealthhub.com at any time. We will stop promptly and at no cost to you.
We do not give your details to other organisations for their own marketing.
05Photos and filming at events
Our summits and Health Suite sessions may be photographed or filmed. We use these images and recordings to report on the event and promote our work on our website, social media, newsletters and with our media and venue partners.
We tell attendees in advance and at the event. If you would prefer not to appear, let our team know on the day or email hello@omhealthhub.com and we will do our best to leave you out of, or remove you from, published material. Health Suite discussions are private: we do not attribute what members say without their permission.
06Who we share it with
We share personal data only with organisations that help us run our services, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting and forms: Netlify, which hosts our website and receives our contact forms.
- Analytics: our website analytics provider.
- Email and newsletter: our email and newsletter provider.
- Ticketing and payments: our ticketing platform and its payment processor.
- Video: YouTube, when you choose to play a video embedded on our site.
- Event partners: our venues (such as Upper House for The Health Suite) where needed to welcome you, for example a guest list.
With your agreement, we may also share your name and organisation with an event sponsor or partner. We will always ask first.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
07International transfers
Some of the providers above store data outside Hong Kong, including in the United States and the European Union. When we use them, we choose reputable providers and take reasonable steps, including contractual protections, to make sure your data is protected to a standard similar to that required in Hong Kong.
08Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them to keep the website working and, through our analytics tool, to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are popular. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when you play them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, although some features, such as embedded videos, may not.
09How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
- Clients, members and event attendees: for as long as needed to provide our services, then up to 7 years for accounting and legal reasons.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Event photos and video: for as long as they are used to report on or promote our work.
After that, we delete or anonymise the data securely.
10Keeping it safe
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access controls and working only with trusted providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if a problem occurs.
11Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal data about you, and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate;
- withdraw your consent to marketing at any time;
- where the law where you live allows it (for example in the UK or EU), ask us to delete your data, limit how we use it, object to its use, or receive it in a portable format.
To make a request, email hello@omhealthhub.com. We will reply within 40 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and the law allows us to charge a reasonable fee for copies of data.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong (pcpd.org.hk), or to the data protection authority where you live.
12Children
Our website and services are designed for organisations and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
13Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as our partners, media coverage and YouTube. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your data, so please read their privacy policies.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
