Vera Lui

Vera Lui is a trailblazer in sexual wellness and empowerment, co-founding Sally Coco in 2010, Hong Kong’s first all-inclusive, pleasure-positive intimate lifestyle retail space. Her candid and humorous YouTube videos addressing common questions about sexuality and reviewing intimate products have garnered over 22 million views and 106,000 subscribers, making her a trusted voice in transforming attitudes toward sexual matters, particularly in conservative communities. In 2018, she launched the Women’s Festival at Eaton Workshop, an annual event exploring issues from a female perspective, further solidifying her role as a leading advocate for women’s empowerment.

Armed with a master degree in Buddhist Counselling and certification in Sexuality Education, Vera blends compassionate counselling with comprehensive sexuality education to empower individuals in their personal journeys. Over the past 13 years, she has delivered impactful talks and workshops at TEDx CUHK, the Prestige Women of Power Summit, and leading universities such as CUHK and Hong Kong University. Her teachings span topics including intimacy, body positivity, self-love, sexual pleasure, and women’s empowerment, inspiring countless individuals to embrace a more open and positive approach to sexuality.
