Michelle is the Global Managing Director & Partner of the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She focuses on insurance sector and leads the insurance practice of BCG Greater China as well as Corporate Finance & Strategy (CFS) in Greater China. She’s also one of BCG’s global topic leader on ecosystem strategy and distribution excellence.
Michelle worked for 25 years in consulting/insurance sectors, with experience across multiple markets including US, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She supported leading players in these markets on various topics from digital transformation, distribution upgrade or innovation, operations transformation, to corporate governance, people and organization. She also spearheaded the development of thought leadership for overall industry. Her main publications include digital innovation in insurance, digital insurance in China, digital transformation of insurers, ecosystem strategy, insurance consumer insights etc.
Michelle has an MBA from the University of Illinois (finance and marketing) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate. She is also a member of New York Society of Security Analysts.
